Kesteven & Sleaford High School is, for students up to the age of sixteen, a selective girls' academy, accepting the top 25% of the ability range. The pages within this section outline our admissions process for students wishing to join us in Years 7 to 11.

We are situated in the centre of the beautiful Lincolnshire market town of Sleaford, having first opened our doors in 1902. We have approximately 760 pupils on roll in both the lower school and 6th form. The school is noted for academic success in an atmosphere of mutual respect between staff and pupils.
Consultation on Admission Policy for entry in 2027 to 2028
Kesteven and Sleaford High School is consulting with regard to the admission policy for entry in the academic year 2027 to 2028 from 13 October until 21 November 2025.
During the consultation period, the Draft Admission Policy for entry in the academic year 2027 to 2028 will be available to view and download.

Final determination of the policy for entry in the academic year 2027 to 2028 will be completed by the Local School Board in November 2025. All comments made during the consultation period will be reviewed by the Local School Board prior to determination of the policy.
