Curriculum Intent

The English department produces independent, creative and curious students who desire life-long learning.  Key Stage three is designed to be challenging and engaging to facilitate acquisition of an extensive, sophisticated vocabulary. Our curriculum is mapped to ensure clear consecutive steps towards the success and enjoyment of our KS4 and KS5 programmes of study. As English Teachers, we prioritise Teaching and Learning within our personal professional development.
