September 2026 (Local Students)

The Local Authority, which has a duty to make sure that every child is placed, will write to parents/carers giving details of Lincolnshire Secondary Schools and will include an application form requesting parental preferences of secondary school. The latest date for return of these forms is 31 October 2026. Please note that sitting the 11+ tests at a Grammar School does not constitute an application for admission.

Applications can also be made online at the Lincolnshire County Council school admissions website or by telephone through the Customer Service Centre on 01522 782030. The closing date for applications via these methods is also 31 October 2026.

September 2026 (Out of Area Students)

Parents/Carers should start the application process for a place at secondary school via their own Local Authority. The closing date for secondary applications is 31 October 2026. This means that parents/carers can make their choices after they have received the results of their child’s 11+ test.

Deadline for the return of preference forms to your local Council.

Monday 1 March 2027

The Local Authority will send out offers of secondary school places. If you applied online, you will be able to see your offered school online. You will have the opportunity to appeal or to make a new application if you wish.

Tuesday 2 March 2027

We will write to parents/carers of the children who have been offered a place with us in Year 7 starting in September 2027 confirming the offer made by the Local Authority and asking for confirmation that this place will be accepted
