We’re pleased to share details of upcoming free online workshops delivered by the Dyslexia Outreach team. These sessions are open to all parents and carers—no diagnosis of dyslexia is required to attend and indeed could be beneficial to more parents and students.

Staff are invited to nominate students who have demonstrated a Growth Mindset in the past few weeks. This might have been in lessons, in clubs, tutor time or simply around school. Please note we already award bi-annual subject badges and merits for good academic work, effort and improvement. These Growth Mindset nominations recognise those who show resilience (academic or otherwise); who aren’t afraid to get things wrong and learn from it; those who have a go, take themselves out of their comfort zone or show that even if a task is tough, they will persevere.
From the fifteenth to sixteenth of July, 26 of the A-Level Physics students went on a trip to Switzerland.
Interact Club has been busy again!
Our Year 7 members organised a collection for the Sleaford Food Larder this week and we were pleased to send off a car boot full of tins, cereals, pasta, milk and other useful items. A particular mention should go to 9HB and their form captain Hattie who organised a whole food shop!
Sleaford schools went head-to-head in an exhilarating technology tournament on Friday 11 July 2025. Over 100 students competed to be crowned champions. Teams of four students were challenged to design, develop, build, and test a solution to an unknown technical challenge, using materials supplied, against the clock, in a one-day event.

With the summer holidays just around the corner, we'd like to share the range of summer courses from smallpeice, an educational charity that inspires young people to pursue careers in science and engineering through events and workshops.
The Summer of STEM course program runs throughout the holidays, and it's a truly unique chance for students to get hands-on and learn about different engineering topics. They'll get a real feel of what it's like to work in STEM, exploring through fun, practical activities. The courses range from residential courses to online learning, so there's something to fit everyone's summer plans.
