Students from Years 7-10 and 12 spent a busy day on Monday 7 March working with London-based installation artist Helena Doyle, making willow lanterns that will adorn the bridges of Sleaford during the Riverlight Festival which takes place on the 19 March.
The Intermediate Mathematical Challenge is a 60-minute, multiple-choice competition aimed at students across the UK. 142 pupils in Years 9, 10 and 11 participated in this year's competition online as a homework task in February and can now access their results by logging in to challenges.ukmt.org.uk.
It was great to return to the Grantham Music Festival for its 60th year celebrations.
The library was the central point of our World Book Day celebrations, with various book themed activities and competitions taking place. Library Captains were on hand to distribute World Book Day tokens and help with the Library Lucky Dip and the Author Hunt activity.

Tutor times this week have included the chance for students in all years to learn about the situation in the Ukraine.
Students at KSHS were given the challenge of creating a poem about ‘connectivity and the universe’, reflecting on the many ways in which life across the universe is interwoven.
After being crowned regional champions on 4 February, KSHS team ‘Legoless’ advanced to the UK National Finals on 26 February.
North Kesteven District Council are holding a poster competition where the winning entry will be used to promote Armed Forces Day on Saturday 25 June 2022.
