Staff are invited to nominate students who have demonstrated a Growth Mindset in the past few weeks. This might have been in lessons, in clubs, in tutor time or simply around school. Please note we already award bi-annual subject badges and merits for good academic work, effort and improvement. These Growth Mindset nominations recognise those who show resilience (academic or otherwise); who aren’t afraid to get things wrong and learn from it; those who have a go, take themselves out of their comfort zone or show that even if a task is tough they will persevere.
Well done to Imogen 8A. She has been selected to be part of the squad representing Lincs Schools FA U14's from 120 girls who trialled.
Congratulations to KSHS students Becky 11A, Ruby 7W, Isla 7L and Rianna 9MC who were medal winners after competing in a number of events at Sleaford Swimming club gala.
Over the Easter holidays the IT network team were busy in classrooms upgrading a raft of new PCs for student use. As part of our asset replacement plan, new computers have been installed in the library; in V4, a multifunctional classroom with desks that convert to IT spaces when needed; in the Year 13 private study area, and in Geography classrooms.

As part of their learning about the ‘Geography of Crime,’ the Year 9 Geographers have participated in local fieldwork, investigating crime in Sleaford by collecting primary data.
Students from Years 9 and 10 have been invited to form a book club that shadows the official judging process of the Yoto Carnegie Greenaway Medal.
To celebrate Word Poetry Day this year the Key Stage 3 Pride Club have been creating their own poems with the help of a magnetic poetry board.
