Chartership is an internationally recognised benchmark within the profession. It recognises practitioners who have developed their skills and experience beyond the fundamentals of librarianship, demonstrating a commitment to professional practice, continuing development and high standards.

Alongside her work at KSHS, Mrs Gibson has also had the opportunity to represent the school and its library at national level, contributing to research into censorship in libraries. She is currently Chair of READ, the Lincolnshire Secondary Schools Library Group, supporting collaboration and sharing practice with colleagues across secondary schools in the county.

Achieving MCLIP is a significant professional accomplishment and reflects the continued development of the expertise and experience she brings to her role at KSHS.
