Celebrating Top 10% Attendance Recognition

Kesteven and Sleaford High School is celebrating a significant achievement after once again being recognised among the top 10% of schools nationally for student attendance during the Spring term of the 2025/26 academic year.
The recognition comes from FFT Education, which collects and analyses daily attendance data from thousands of schools across England. Through its Attendance Tracker system, FFT enables schools to monitor, benchmark, and improve attendance by comparing performance on a weekly basis.
Based on this extensive national dataset, awards are issued each term to schools demonstrating outstanding attendance. Kesteven and Sleaford High School’s inclusion in the Top 10% nationally highlights its continued commitment to fostering a culture where attendance is prioritised and valued.
This latest accolade builds on the school’s strong track record, reinforcing its reputation for excellence not only in academic outcomes but also in student engagement and wellbeing.
The award underscores the importance of consistent attendance in supporting learning outcomes and student progress. Nationally, improving attendance remains a key priority for schools, particularly in the wake of recent challenges affecting pupil engagement.
By maintaining its position among the highest-performing schools for attendance, Kesteven and Sleaford High School continues to set a benchmark for excellence, demonstrating the positive impact of strong relationships, clear expectations, and a supportive school community.
The school will now look ahead to building on this success throughout the remainder of the academic year.
