DfE Leaders visit KSHS

The Community Inclusive Trust (CIT) was proud to welcome senior leaders from the Department for Education to several of our schools this week, showcasing the breadth and impact of our work across the county.

Kelly Hughes, Deputy Regional Director, together with RISE Advisor, Emily Walker, and CIT Chief Executive Officer Peter Bell, visited Kesteven & Sleaford High School, where Headteacher Josephine Smith led a tour of the school, spending time across classrooms.

Thank you to our staff and pupils for showcasing our commitment to inclusive, high quality education across all phases.

Our guests then toured Carre’s Grammar School, welcomed by Executive Headteacher Nick Law.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the county, Isaac Newton Primary School welcomed Nigel Minns, DfE East Midlands Regional Director, alongside Jahana Akhter, DfE Delivery Officer, and Amanda Griffiths, RISE Advisor.

The two groups then came together and were provided lunch by Newton Bridge Academy Hospitality pupils.

These visits provided valuable opportunities to share best practice, celebrate the achievements of our schools, and demonstrate CIT’s strong partnership working across the education system.
