Extra Curricular

The clubs and activities timetable changes each term but do have a look at the sample programme attached. Clubs take place at lunchtime and after school. Because our lunchtime is an hour long there is time to eat, see your friends and take part in a club! Many of the clubs are run by staff but some are overseen by Sixth Form students who want you to love doing some of the extra-curricular things they do!

Music, Drama and Art feature strongly in the activities the school offers. Many students are learning to play an instrument and they give performances at the concerts hosted by the school. We are keen on giving all our students great access to Science, Maths, Engineering and Technology (STEM) events too and have a teacher who coordinates these opportunities throughout the year.

There are frequent money raising events for a wide variety of charities, ranging from the annual school walk to cake stalls and ‘civvies days’. These events are usually planned and organised by the students themselves.

As well as clubs and activities in school there are lots of trips and visits too. Have a look at our trips page.
